“Sign Here”

Local street artist ZMED brings a new assemblage installation entitled “Sign Here,” to the gallery. Signage, graffiti, stickers, paste ups, stencils and sketches combine to create commentary on language and image in the public space.

Zach’s art extends way beyond a can of paint. He is a ceramicist and print maker and owns ZMed ceramics. Zach lives in West Lafayette with his wife, Mindy. He holds a masters of arts degree in ceramics from Purdue University, and is an elected member of the Indiana Artisan program. He exhibits his work throughout the Midwest and nationally, including at the Artist’s Own art co-op in downtown Lafayette, where you just might catch him working for a few hours each month.
