I’m passionate about music and art, dabbling in writing. My roommate and I have a music project that’s about two years old and we are excited to branch out into the artistic world in Lafayette.
Write what you know, whether it’s in song or essay. And draw/paint/color what you know, whether a ranting picture in a journal entry or how an eyebrow looks in a portrait. My work in songwriting, art, and writing is best fueled by kind of fishing the psyche with free-association and a massive dose of honesty.
I started playing the guitar at 10 years old. I began drawing when I was much younger. Drawing in particular took a much more organic turn when I worked thought Robert Dvorak’s “Experiential Drawing” in the summer of 1999.
