I, Sara Satterly, am a dance artist who creates contemporary dance, improvisational dance and performance art works. I am the co-director of the Greater Lafayette Dance Collective which I formed in 2020 with Deborah Kull. I am inspired by interpersonal relationships, clothing and textiles, and the natural world.

I started dancing when I was three years old and trained primarily in my hometown of Indianapolis, IN. I also danced when I was an undergraduate at Purdue University.

I use a lot of dance improvisation to create works. I collaborate with local music and visual artists to create unique performances.
