I create paintings that combine traditional oil painting with collaged bits of history: incorporating sheet music, vintage dresses, discarded books and forgotten photographs into paintings in order to create images in the style of Magical Realism. These paintings often encourage thoughtful reflection about the environment and the viewer’s role in it.
