I’ve always enjoyed coloring, painting ceramics, and scrapbooking as I moved around in the military. It wasn’t until 2019 that I started selling canvas paintings which evolved into my small art business. YouTube videos inspired me to start paint pouring on glass and canvas. I constantly learn a lot from fellow artists on Instagram. In order to create, I have to find inspiration from somewhere. Then I choose a color combo. Once I have an idea things can move fairly quickly. Nothing I create is perfect and I’m okay with that. I love the relaxation that goes along with painting wine glasses, ornaments, jewelry. Canvases can be a bit stressful because I have a small amount of time to get the look I want before the paint starts to set. I find that doing anything creative is therapeutic and rewarding. I enjoy being able to donate my art to local charities/events because the local community has been so supportive of me.
