I have been creating since I was a child and enjoy many different mediums, from paint and inks to sculpting and using my voice to evoke thought and passion. From many years of vocal training, on stage performance and in recording studios to years of art lessons, I have been blessed to use my gifts in many ways and love expressing that freely and relevantly.

When creating an art piece setting the mood to begin is important. Once that is established moving into a sketch and initial washes set the foundation for the building of color and pigment. I love the flow of pigment across a canvas or a sheet of paper and. It is cathartic release and an expression of emotion. I am passionate about vibrant colors. Once a piece feels complete, it is signed and sealed to protect from UV Rays and increase durability.

As I mentioned previously, I have been creating in one way or another for as long as I can remember. I received many years vocal training in school and college in South Texas. I have taken art classes in many places but currently study regularly under Saundra Whiddon of Flower Child Studios in West Lafayette.
