
We are here to help! Whether you are needing to level up your grant writing skills or wanting to find out which marketing platforms are the best for promoting what you do, TAF’s 2026 Workshop Series is designed to meet your needs.
This four part series is FREE to all TAF members. Non-members are welcome to attend; each workshop is $20. Registration is required as space is limited. All workshops will take place at the Wells Community Cultural Center, 638 North Street, Lafayette, IN.
Grant Writing Workshop
Wednesday, February 25 at 1:00 – 2:00 pm
This grant writing workshop will explore the ins and outs of navigating the grant opportunities that TAF administers. We will discuss the Indiana Arts Commission’s Arts Project Support application and the NCHS Capital Grant opportunity. Whether you are a new applicant or a seasoned veteran, this workshop will help guide you to authoring a strong and competitive grant!
Gallery-Ready: Artist Writing & Documentation Workshop
When: Wednesday, March 11 at 1:00 – 2:00 pm
This workshop supports artists in developing written materials that clearly articulate their artistic approach and practice.
Participants will receive guidance on writing artist statements, CVs, and exhibition proposals, with a focus on what galleries may look for, especially for TAF gallery exhibition submissions.
The session will also include practical tips for documenting artwork for social media, websites, and future opportunities.
Marketing and Social Media Workshop
When: Wednesday, March 18 at 1:00 – 2:00 pm
Iris Goldfeder, CEO of GasStoveCreative, a Lafayette- based marketing firm, will show how individual artists, small businesses, and organizations can use social media effectively, identifying the right audience for each platform and connecting those insights into an overall marketing plan.
Workshop: Building Partnerships

This workshop offers practical insight into building and sustaining meaningful partnerships and establishing processes that support effective collaboration toward shared goals.
