Show Title: Imaginal
Show Description
In metamorphosis, imaginal cells are highly organized groups of cells grown inside the bodies of caterpillars. They survive the digestive processes of the cocoon stage, later forming the body parts of the adult butterfly or moth.
IImaginal delves into the liminal space of transition/transformation. I combine familiar images from childhood and the natural world to explore the jumbled, and sometimes contradicting, emotions surrounding my experience of being queer.
