Constance is a textile artist that works mainly in quilting and embroidery. She creates both functional and display pieces. Her goal is to encourage others to try something new, regardless of age or experience. She hopes to inspire you to go out and learn some new tricks.
Learn New Tricks is a series of 52 mini quilts that act as a scrapbook of the artist’s 40th year starting in November 2022. This exhibit offers literal and metaphorical ruminations on each week. Some pieces are messy and include embroidery and other forms of expression as the artist explores her joy in learning something new and trying to apply it to her life.
