Where Is My Mind?
My name is Brandon Ahnert. I am originally from Converse, Indiana. I now live with my wife Amy and daughters Ava and Elsie in West Lafayette, Indiana. I am focused on creating one-of-a-kind art that utilizes a variety of re-purposed materials. My inspirations and influences come from music, meditation and a deep interest in bohemian lifestyle. I truly love the process of working through my ideas and feelings and turning them into a representative piece that I can share with others. All of the items that I offer have been made by hand in a pole barn right next door to Prophets Rock. All pieces are quality controlled by my wife and daughters.
This show is a representation of following my mind for one year to see what artistic and creative expressions come out. I followed a ritual of lighting an incense, putting on music and trying to stay as mindful as I was able with each piece. I hope you enjoy the show!
