The Arts Federation (TAF) is currently seeking applications for a full-time Officer Manager. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until a candidate has been selected.
The Office Manager is an administrative and customer service position at The Arts Federation. The incumbent will need to be able to work in the office during business hours, which are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. This position also supports TAF's monthly gallery receptions and several annual special events, therefore some work may be required outside of regular business hours.
TAF's Office Manager works at the Front Desk of the Wells Community Cultural Center in downtown Lafayette. Applicants should friendly and helpful, willing to put forth extra effort to help customers, members and visitors. The Office Manager must be able to work under pressure and be able to multi-task while maintaining accuracy due to the building being open to visitors. The ideal candidate must have excellent clerical and customer service skills and experience, including computer competency as indicated in the full job description found
here. This position has no direct reports and is supervised by the Chief Operating Officer.
This position is full-time, overtime exempt, and includes health, vision, and dental insurance coverage as well as an option for a simple IRA retirement account with company match available after one year of service. The starting salary is $32,000 per year with bi-weekly pay.
