As a condition of your Arts Organization Support or Arts Project Support grant, you are required to credit the funding support you receive. This is done by the display of the logo on promotional materials related to your funded project. The TAF receives dollars from both state and national government agencies, such as the Indiana Arts Commission and National Endowment for the Arts.
Therefore, every time you credit your funding sources, you are thanking both donors and individual taxpayers, as well as your local, state, and national political leaders for their support of the arts!
For these grant programs, you must acknowledge your funders in one of the following ways:
- Include the logos of the Indiana Arts Commission, TAF, and National Endowment for the Arts on all promotional materials, like: advertisements (print, digital, and TV), banners, billboards, brochures/rack cards, fliers, media releases (use written credit line), newsletters, playbills, postcards, posters, websites.
- If design or space limitations prevent the usage of logos, please include the following written acknowledgment: “This project is made possible by the Indiana Arts Commission, The Arts Federation, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.”
- A third way of recognizing your supporters is through verbal acknowledgment during events or television, radio, or internet broadcasts.
