Project Art: 201 was launched by 8 young artists: Eunji Lee, Cailean Chen, Jein Park, Minsoo Park, Naomi Gibert, Novia Chiang, Yewon Park, and Zihan Xu, in summer 2024. They are all local high school students who are enthusiastic about creating art. Jong-un Choi, a local artist and educator, guided them in finding their voice through visual art. The purpose of this show, The Way We See the World, is to provide all budding young artists with opportunities to advance their talent by experiencing the process of having their work in a gallery space. The exhibition is a valuable incentive for our young people; it encourages an appreciation for art lovers and reflects the fine quality of art instruction and talent. Many different categories of discipline and personally handmade works by young artists will participate in the show. As part of our commitment to bringing art into the surroundings, The Way We See the World is dedicated to the educational and artistic advancement of our talented young artists in the community of Lafayette.
